Grand Council 2025

Grand Council 2025 will be hosted by the Kappa Chapter at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, from Friday, October 17, to Sunday, October 19, 2025.

For those attending, please click here to register. The registration fee will be $125 per person. This registration fee helps cover the cost of food, events, and transportation.

Please remember that every active chapter must send at least two students to attend the delegate’s meeting, but I encourage every chapter to send as many students as possible to attend! The more the merrier!

Travel and Accommodations:

The recommended airport is the Des Moines International Airport (DSM), which is about a 45-minute drive to ISU’s campus. A second option would be the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), which is roughly a three-hour drive to campus.

The Kappa Chapter will be providing vouchers for Uber for active chapter members to use for the weekend to get everyone to and from the events. Rental cars might also be useful to drive to and from the airport and the weekend’s events.

The recommended hotel is the Gateway Hotel. There will be a block of rooms at a discounted rate (discount code coming soon!). Alternative hotels that are also very close by include the Comfort Inn and Suites, Courtyard Ames, Best Western Plus, and Holiday Inn Express. None of the events for the weekend will be held at the hotel, if this impacts your choice of accommodations for the weekend.
